Rubber and vinyl are material descriptions, not complete suitability statements. To compare tire graphics, identify the actual product and its declared application. A familiar material name does not tell you whether a particular graphic, bonding system and installation method are intended for your tire or use.
Identify the complete system
Ask what the finished graphic is made from, how it is supplied and which application instructions apply. Establish whether a separate bonding material is required and whether it is included. Avoid combining instructions from one product with materials from another simply because both products use a similar category label.
Compare the same intended use
A display graphic, a bodywork decal and a tire lettering product may be offered for different surfaces or conditions. Before comparing appearance or price, ask the supplier to confirm the intended surface and whether the planned vehicle use is supported. If a listing does not address the application, leave compatibility unresolved rather than inferring it.

Treat performance claims separately
Statements about flexibility, heat exposure, cleaning resistance or life need evidence for the actual product. Do not assume that every item described as rubber performs one way or that every vinyl product performs another. When evidence is provided, record the conditions and limitations with the claim.
Make unknowns visible
Your comparison may reveal that one listing supplies more information. That makes its requirements easier to assess, but it does not automatically establish superior performance. Ask the other supplier for the missing details, then compare the completed records.
